Commercial Shingle Projects
Commercial shingle projects are much more complex than putting shingles on a house. Roof pitch, size of roof, hips, valleys, mansards, crickets and gutters all come into play when planning the best possible roof. Large-scale shingle projects should be completed with commercial-grade shingles and products.
You should not install the same type of shingle on your commercial building that you would install on your house.
Unfortunately, it is all too common to see non-commercial-grade products installed on a commercial building. What happens? They fail. They just cannot withstand the sheer volume of wind, weather and rainwater endured by the large surface area of a commercial property roof.
